About the Project
Doza Rizen Cafe required a robust, highly reliable website and online ordering system capable of handling a large and complex menu while integrating directly with in-store operations. The solution was designed and built with a focus on accuracy, throughput, and operational stability—ensuring online orders flow smoothly from customer to kitchen without manual intervention.
The website features a fully integrated online menu containing more than 170 individual menu items and 176 modifiers. All items are carefully structured to allow customers to customize their orders in detail — adding or removing ingredients, selecting sides, choosing drinks, and tailoring each item to their preferences directly through the online ordering system — providing flexibility and clarity without overwhelming the user experience.
To support order fulfillment, two on-premises Point of Sale interfaces were deployed — one in the Front of House cashier area and one in the Kitchen. Online orders automatically print to dedicated Epson TM-M30III receipt printers in both locations, ensuring orders are received clearly and consistently by staff where they are needed most.
All Point of Sale iPads were provisioned and managed using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Microsoft Intune, allowing the devices to be fully supervised, serviceable, and easily redeployed if needed. Employee interaction with the devices is intentionally limited to the POS system itself, reducing the risk of misconfiguration and ensuring consistent behavior during busy service periods.
In addition, a dedicated intranet and Wi-Fi network was deployed exclusively for the Online Ordering Point of Sale devices using a separate Eero Wi-Fi router, fully isolated from the restaurant’s in-store POS and guest networks. This separation improves reliability, prevents network contention, and enables remote monitoring and troubleshooting of all online ordering POS devices by our agency when needed — often without requiring an on-site visit.
The result is a highly structured, scalable system that supports Doza Rizen Cafe’s extensive menu offerings while maintaining a smooth, predictable workflow — allowing staff to focus on food preparation and customer service while the technology operates quietly and reliably in the background.
